Amir TEYMURI (b 17.06.1984, Isfahan)
is a freelance composer and currently a lecturer at the Institute for New Music, Composition and Conducting at the University of Music and Theater Munich, the Institute for Music Informatics at the University of Music Karlsruhe, and the Faculty of Music and Art at the University of Potsdam, Germany. He was the recipient of the Music Scholarship from the Academy of Arts Berlin and an artist in residence at the Center for Arts and Urbanistics Berlin.

- 2018 - 2020 Studied Music Informatics at the 'Institute for Music Informatics and Musicology' at the University of Music Karlsruhe
- 2020 - 2022 Research assistant at the Institute for Musicology at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main
- Since the summer semester of 2023, lecturer at the 'Institute for New Music, Composition, and Conducting' at the University of Music and Theater Munich, and at the 'Institute for Music Informatics' at the University of Music Karlsruhe
